A budget should be presented in line with policies and programs: FNCCI President Dhakal

KATHMANDU:The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI)  President, Chandra Dhakal, has stated that creating a budget that aligns with policies and programs is essential.

At the joint sitting of the Federal Parliament on Tuesday, he made this statement in response to President Ramchandra Paudel's presentation of policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year.

According to Dhakal, bringing a matching budget is essential to the success of policy and program implementation.

Additionally, he asserted that the government's initiatives and policies support the private sector and are beneficial.

He declared, "Although the government brought this policy and program based on the sixteenth plan, it should be allocated according to the policy and program."
