Former Tourism Minister, Kirati demands an investigation against him

KATHMANDU, May 12:Sudan Kirati, the former minister of culture, tourism, and civil aviation, has written to Minister Hitman Tamang requesting an inquiry into him.

Declaring that he initiated the free cremation program in Pashupati during his tenure as a minister, Kirati called for an inquiry into media stories that implicated him in this regard.

By broadcasting the news, they are attempting to perplex the people. After meeting with Minister Tamang on Sunday, I ask that a committee be established to look into the matters mentioned and that the incident's real cause be made public," he added.
