Tourists increased movement at Rasuwagadhi Cross border
RASUWA, May 12:The flow across the Rasuwagadhi border has begun to grow as travelers and tourists visiting Mansarovar, Kailash, and Lhasa arrive.
After visitors from Lhasa began arriving at Rasuwagadhi by helicopter and pilgrims arriving at Mansarovar by bus, mobility in the deserted Rasuwagadhi and Ghattekhola areas has increased.
At a time when businessmen's movements in the commercial sector are reducing, the local people's businesses have improved since the start of the trip to Maan Sarovar.
According to locals, there has been a rush to the immigration office in Timure's Ghattekhola to keep visa records, and the region between Ghattekhola and Rasuwagadhi Miteri Bridge has been congested.
Murari Niraula, the head of the Rasuwagadhi Immigration Office, informed us that 25 Nepalis have departed for the Mansarovar Yatra, while 500 foreign visitors have left for China from the Rasuwagadhi checkpoint for an observation trip of Lhasa.
According to him, Bhutanese, Russians, Ukrainians, Serbians, French, Americans, and others will be visiting Lhasa. According to the Immigration Office, the tourists were transported to Ghattekhola in Rasuwagadhi by helicopters from businesses such as Altitude Air and Dynasty Heli.
To facilitate the journey of religious and sightseeing tourists, Chief Niraula stated that all procedures to be completed by the Immigration Office will be provided to travelers and tourists who have gotten visas quickly.
According to locals, the Mansarovar Pilgrimage, which began in the middle of the spring season, will continue until the middle of the fall season, with devotees flocking in droves.
