Mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa scales Mount Everest for 29th time
KATHMANDU, May 12:Mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has scaled Mount Everest for the 29th time. At 7:25 a.m. today, he successfully scaled Mount Everest.
He has broken his own previous record for ascending the highest number of Mt.Everest.He climbed Mount Everest on behalf of Seven Summit Treks.
Seven Summit Treks stated on social media, "This climb earned Kami Rita Sherpa the personal title of 'Most Successful Climb of Mt. Everest.'"
Kami Rita, the Seven Summit Trek's senior guide, is a Thameka from Solukhumbu. Kamirita, 54, has been climbing mountains for more than 20 years. He began in 1992 by joining the Everest climbing expedition as a support crew member.
Kami Rita Sherpa has climbed the world's highest peaks over 8,000 meters 40 times, including Choyu eight times, Manaslu three times, Lhotse once times, and K2 once times.
