Jungle safari begins at Parsa's thori

PARSA, May 08:The jungle safari has begun at Parsa's thori. Jungle Safari was conducted for the first time on Monday at Jungle Resort Thori, located in Thori Rural Municipality 2.

A team led by Amrit Krishna Sapkota, Chairman of Thori Rural Municipality-2, and Balkumar Basnet, Chairman of the Nirmal Thori Intermediate Committee, tested the jungle safari for the first time.

The safari began and finished at Jungle Resort Thori, passing through Ichchanagar, Sikaribas, and Budvanagar along the Hulaki road.

Balkumar Basnet, Chairman of the Nirmal Thori Intermediate Consumer Committee, stated that the operation was carried out as a trial on Monday, and that the safari will resume on a regular basis within a few days.

Chairman Basnet stated that the committee spent 8 lakh rupees on road repair to execute the jungle safari. He feels that Jungle Safari will give a new dimension to tourism growth in the surrounding region.

Sapkota, Thori-2's ward Chairman , believed that it would make Thori more appealing to tourists.

Basnet, the committee's chairman, stated that the jungle safari would be helpful Indian citizens and guests from Birgunj and other locations, as well as settlements inside and outside the Thori forest.
