NAC operates rescue flight for heart attack patients from Jumla
KATHMANDU, May 08:Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is conducting a rescue flight for heart attack patients from Jumla. On Tuesday, at 11:19 a.m., the NAC launched a rescue flight for Ganesh Budhathapa from Jumla, using the NAC's call sign 9N ABT.
It has been informed that 11 passengers including Budhathapa, who suffered heart attacks three times after reaching Jumla from Nepalgunj, have been rescued.
The NAC has published a statement stating that the rescue flight was directed by Hit Bahadur Tamang, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, and was a special initiative of Yuvaraj Adhikari, Executive Chairman of the NAC.
The NAC has also thanked the entire flight crew, staff, supporting agencies and all the helpers including the pilot of this rescue flight, Captain Rakshit Malla.
A statement issued by NAC spokesperson Ramesh Paudel emphasizes the need and importance of the national flag bearer participating in rescue flights and showing the state's strong presence.
