Global IME Bank signed agreement with Badimalika Municipality

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited and Badimalika Municipality have inked an agreement to provide loans to entrepreneurs within the municipality in a simple and easy manner.

The agreement was signed by Deputy Chief Executive Officer Suman Pokharel of Global IME Bank and Mayor Amar Bahadur Khadka of Badimalika Municipality.

According to the agreement, the bank will make loans to farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs, agricultural firms, and people who want to start their own agriculture businesses in a simple and easy manner.

The bank believes that this loan will foster self-sufficiency and self-employment in the municipality through entrepreneurship.

Global IME Bank is the first commercial bank in the private sector to have branches in all of the country's districts.

The bank operates over 1,100 service centers, which include 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 68 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices.
