NTB Gandaki handed electric bicycles to tourist police
POKHARA, April 21:The Nepal Tourism Board, Gandaki Provincial Office Pokhara, has donated two electric bicycles to the Tourist Police Office in Pokhara. Naveen Pokhrel, Acting Chief of the Board Pokhara Office, and Senior Officer Kundan Mishra Sharma handed over the donated bicycles to Mohan Kumar Thapa, Chief of the District Police Office Kaski. Chief Thapa, who had received the aid, handed over the tourist police office to Pokhara Chief Police Inspector Jagdish Regmi.
With the declaration of Pokhara as the country's tourist capital, and taking into account the increased obligations and challenges for the tourist police, the Board assisted in resolving minor issues created by a lack of resources, Pokhrel stated. He stated that it will help to build a safe tourist environment in Pokhara and the neighboring areas.
According to Chief Thapa, the cooperation has increased enthusiasm to work in areas with high levels of domestic and foreign tourist traffic in order to create a safe tourism environment. He stated that everyone's assistance and collaboration are required to convey the message that Pokhara is safe for tourists and to establish the suitable environment.
