Citizens Bank to celebrate its 17th Anniversary with various discount and cashback offers

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited, which has prioritized digital banking, has revealed exciting plans on the occasion of its 17th anniversary.

Keeping in mind the anniversary of Baisakh 7th, the bank has announced plans including heavy discount/cashback on various service facilities to be applicable for 1 month from 1st Baisakh to 31st Baisakh.

According to the bank, under the plan, debit/credit card users would receive 170 rupees cashback at a rate of 17% or higher when they complete a 1000-or-more purchase through POS machines or online.

Similarly, consumers who pay by scanning the QR code through Citizen Smart would receive 170 payback of 17 percent or more on transactions of 500 or more, according to the bank.

To encourage the use of e-com cards, another kind of digital payment, the bank will issue the cards free of charge to customers who wish to obtain them during the plan period.

Similarly, the bank has agreed to open free demat accounts for consumers throughout this plan time.

Furthermore, the bank has announced that inactive mobile banking customers would receive a 150 lump amount discount upon activation of the service during the plan period.

Citizens Bank International serves 17. 46 million people through 190 branches, 153 ATMs, and 98 branchless banking units located around the country.

Citizens Bank, which presently serves 55 districts, has stated that it would grow to 60 districts this fiscal year by opening seven new branches.
