"Marriott Kathmandu Marks Merry Moment with Annual Tree Lighting"
KATHMANDU, Dec 02:The Marriott Kathmandu ushered in the holiday season with its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a festive occasion this Sunday. The M-floor was lit up with sparkling lights, bustling guests and soothing music as the night deepened bonds.
It was made even more special this year by collaborating with Baby Life Home, a local charitable organization. The children from Baby Life Home added a joyful touch to the event by singing traditional Christmas carols and spreading cheer to all attendees.
In a heartwarming initiative, the ceremony featured a charity program where handcrafted finger puppets made by the children were put up for sale. Proceeds from this initiative will support Baby Life Home’s mission of providing care and assistance to underprivileged children.
The evening also marked the opening of the hotel’s Annual Advent Calendar, with Day 1 unveiled by the children themselves, adding to the spirit of giving and celebration.
Vishal Mehra, Cluster General Manager of Marriott Kathmandu, expressed his gratitude and shared felicitations for the successful start of the festive season. He emphasized the importance of community and inclusivity in celebrating such events.
The Marriott Kathmandu’s annual tradition continues to shine as a beacon of festive joy and community spirit, setting the tone for a season of generosity and togetherness.
