Global IME Bank Introduces cashback scheme

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank has introduced a new scheme that allows customers to get cashback of up to 500 rupees when sending money through Global Remit.  The scheme has been announced with  the aim of promoting remittance transactions through the banking system.

In the cashback scheme announced with the slogan "Paisa aaune, Thapera paune", ("Money will come, you will get more,") you will get a cashback of up to five hundred rupees if you send money from abroad to the account in Global IME Bank through Global Remit.

When you send money to any bank account via Global Remit, the bank will add up to five hundred rupees to the amount received.

Under this cashback system, a person sending remittances will receive a cashback of Rs 100 for remittances between Rs 25,000 and Rs 50,000, Rs 250 for remittances between Rs 50,000 and Rs 1 lakh, and Rs 500 for remittances above Rs 1 lakh.

This scheme will remain in effect until June 10, 2024.

Global IME Bank offers services through over 1,100 services centers, including 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 67 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices.
