FNCCI President Chandra Dhakal constructing a hotel in Baglung

BAGLUNG, April 09:Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), is constructing a hotel in the home district of Baglung. Dhakal is constructing the 'Dream Hill Hotel', which will open in Dashain next year (2081).

President Dhakal stated that the hotel's construction is progressing quickly and that it will be operational by the next Dasain. "I expanded the investment after realizing that there is no convenient hotel in the home district, which is uncomfortable for the stay of tourists," Dhakal, the president, said. "This is my first investment in the tourism sector in the home district."

He informed me that the hotel will have 32 rooms and would be erected on three ropani spaces. He did not discuss the investment, instead stating that he was on a mission to establish a well-equipped and elegant hotel. "As it is currently in the construction stage, it is not certain how much investment will be made," Dhakal, the president, told.

Dhakal, who is also the chairman of IME Group, has recently been expanding investment in the tourism sector. Dhakal, who is building cable cars and hotels in different parts of the country through Chandragiri Cable Car, launched 'The Lakeside Retreat' in Pokhara in the year 2079 only a few years ago. After 2 years of operating a facility-rich resort in Pokhara, representing the western region, they are about to launch a new hotel in the home district.

Chandragiri Hills Resort has been put into operation with the main investment of IME Group, which is expanding investments in the fields of banks and financial institutions, cable cars, hydropower, travel agencies, etc. Similarly, a three-star level 'Le Himalaya' hotel is operating in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. The group is preparing to operate a cable car with hotels in all 7 states of the country. The Moulakali cable car was put into operation some time ago, while the Pathibhara cable car is in preparation.
