Rally in Taplejung demanding cable car construction in Pathibhara

TAPLEJUNG, April 09:A solidarity rally has been held with the message that a cable car should be built quickly to make it easier to visit the Pathibhara temple in Taplejung, which is an important religious and tourism destination in the country.

On Saturday, hundreds of district residents participated  a rally organized by Taplejung, a civil organization that promotes development, at its headquarters in Fungling.

During the Sadbhav Yatra, tableaus depicting the culture of many castes and communities, including Naumati Baja and Chabrung, were shown under the banner 'Brihat Nagar Sadbhav Rally'. Locals who attended the rally saw the cable car as a significant step forward in the district's development.

Addressing the corner meeting held after the rally, Dawa Sherpa, senior vice president of the Taplejung Industry and Commerce Association, stated that everyone should support the cable car project since it will assist the religious and tourism sectors thrive.
