19th Fewa New Year Festival celebrations with cullinary delights at Glacier Hotel & Spa
POKHARA, April 06:With the Nepali New Year is on the horizon, the 19th Fewa New Year Festival is set to delight guests in Pokhara. To add a layer of delicious extravagance, the Gandaki regional food festival has also been announced to grace Pokhara by the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal (HAP), in collaboration with the Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) and the Chefs association of Nepal. The food festival will feature an array of traditional delicacies from the Gandaki province. The program is set to be at the Glacier Hotel & Spa, nestled in Pokhara 6, Gourighat.
Rajendra Dhakal, the General Secretary of the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal and the festival's publicity coordinator revealed that the celebration will span three days, commencing from April 11th to April 13th (Baisakh 1, 2081), promising a feast for the senses and an avenue for the international promotion of local cuisine.
Beyond the culinary delights, the Fewa New Year Festival will enliven the Damsidechowk to the Kharechowk area (3.5 km) with many cultural performances. As anticipation mounts, locals and visitors alike eagerly anticipate this annual celebration, setting Pokhara up as the well-deserved tourism capital of Nepal.
