NAC submitted an explanation to CAAN

KATHMANUD, April 04:Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has submitted an explanation to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

Nepal's Aviation Regulatory CAAN  had asked the NAC for serious negligence in air safety and asked for a written explanation.

Jagannath Niraula, spokesperson and Deputy Director General of the CAAN, announced that the NAC's executive chairman, Yuvraj Adhikari, has filed a letter of explanation.

He stated, 'The CAAN raised questions about air safety and asked for an explanation to be submitted within seven days. The NAC has clarified the matter and submitted a letter with an explanation.

Spokesperson Niraula also stated that the clarification is being studied. He stated, "The NAC has provided an explanation, which will now be studied by the CAAN."

The CAAN  had asked the NAC for an explanation on March 26, saying that it had been seriously negligent in air safety.
