Agreement between Multipurpose Finance and FonePay Network for Cross-Border Services

KATHMANDU:Multipurpose Finance Limited (MPFL) and FonePay Network have reached an agreement for cross-border business services. Finance and Network inked a cross-border service agreement on the 15th of Chaitra.

Multipurpose financing has become the first financing company to provide such services to its customers. The agreement was inked by Finance's Deputy General Manager Pradeep Kumar Singh and FonePay Network's State Head Pashupati Mishra for cross-border business payments, the company announced.

Deputy General Manager of Finance Singh stated that consumers who used the QR payment service through financial institutions in the first phase of the service can now utilize BHIM under Indian UPI in the FonePay app to use Nepal-based Multipurpose Finance Limited's FonePay QR.
