Second Dakshinkali Bosan Festival to be held from April 12

KATHMANDU:Champadevi Tourism Promotion Organization will host the second Dakshinkali Bosan Festival on the  30th of Chaitra and the 1st of Baisakh (March 12 to 13).

The event will take hosted at Bosan Football Stadium in conjunction with Dakshinkali Municipality and the Ward No. 1 Office.

The program will also include unique musical performances by national and local artists, a Bosan festival rally, Champadevi hiking, local cuisine, adventurous games, and a Jhaki display.

Among the national-level artists will be the participation of 'Rachna Rimal, Amit Baral Subodh Gautam, Resma Bomjan, Pratima Aryal, Saroj Lamichhane, Sunil Khadka, and Rajendra.

Champadevi Tourism Promotion Organization's president, Mahesh Tamang, stated that the festival is vital for fostering art and culture, sports, selling local products, growing tourism in Bosan via natural beauty, and raising locals' living standards.

Jai Thapamagar, Ward Chairman of Dakshinkali municipality's Ward No. 1, stated that the office of Dakshinkali Municipality and Ward No. 1 will promote Bosan as a tourism hub in collaboration with Champadevi Tourism Promotion Organization.

According to Mohan Basnet, Mayor of Dakshinkali Municipality, the second Bosan Festival will play a vital role in increasing public awareness of the Dakshinkali municipality's Bosan.
