Holi Festival celebrated in Hanumandhoka Durbar Square (Photo Feature)

The famous Hanumandhoka Darbar area of Kathmandu, Basantpur, celebrated Holi with major pomp on Sunday. Young people from all parts of the city have gathered to celebrate Holi by coloring one other. Foreigners who come to Basantpur to celebrate Holi have also shown up in large numbers.

The Holi festival was joyfully celebrated on Sunday throughout the country's hilly regions, including the Kathmandu valley. The Holi festival is celebrated at the auspicious time of the coming of spring from autumn.
