REBAN to conduct Holi Festival at Pokhara Lakeside

KATHMANDU, March 23:The Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) Pokhara will organize the Holi Festival this year, same as it did last year. REBAN President Naresh Bhattarai announced that the organization, which has held the Holi Festival for the past 17 years to promote domestic and international tourism, will continue this year as well.

Holi is one of our holidays that plays a vital role in boosting tourism. It offers a distinct thrill to tourists, he said, 'Holi is a festival of meeting, forgetting sorrows, exchanging colors with each other with love and peace, hence it has been celebrated among tourists underlining its value.'

According to Bhattarai, the Holi event has been prepared in collaboration with the appropriate agencies. Secretary General Bikash Bhattarai stated that on March 24, at 10:30 a.m., domestic and international tourists will play Holi together in Ammat street, followed by panchaibaja and music at Gaurighat, Barahi Chowk, Hallanchowk, and Khare Chowk.

He stated that the Holi Festival 2080 (2024 AD) will help to raise awareness about Nepal's culture and festivals by bringing together domestic and global tourists.
