21 sub-committees formed to prepare for 19th Fewa New Year Festival

POKHARA, March 20:21 different sub-committees have been formed to prepare for the 19th Fewa New Year Festival, which will be conducted by the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal from March 29 to the next Baisakh 1.

In addition to the subcommittee, area coordinators have been appointed based on Lakeside's road numbers. The festival will be co-coordinated by the association's vice presidents, Deepak Shrestha and Ganeshraj Pahari.

Rajendra Dhakal, the association's general secretary, has been assigned primary responsibility for the festival's PR.

The celebration will be conducted from Pokhara's Fishtail Gate to Hallan Chowk with the goal of celebrating Nepali New Year in a cheerful manner while maintaining Nepali art and culture. The festival will primarily focus on tourism, culture, and food.

Laxman Subedi, president and principal coordinator of the association, revealed that on the occasion of the festival, hotels affiliated with the association have prepared to offer guests up to a 20% discount on listed prices.
