German national found dead in Kaski

POKHARA, Feb 25:Pla Josse, a 21-year-old German national, was discovered dead in the Kaski district. 

She had gone missing on Saturday, and the Armed Police Force's disaster rescue unit discovered her lifeless body early Sunday morning.

The American citizen who was going with him reported that he had fallen from Mirsa Bhir in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 and disappeared.

A team of 15 armed police officers was quickly mobilized from Kalika Gana.

DSP Shailendra Thapa, co-spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, said that efforts were underway to remove the girl's body from the cliff using a rope.

Following the girl's death, police detained the American youth for further investigation.
