Citizens Bank supports old age homes

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited has supported Shri Sathya Sai Old Age Home. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank supported Rupandehi's old age home in Basantpur.

The bank has supplied daily food items and other resources to the group that provides shelter for senior residents. The old age home is being operated with the support received from various donors.

Ganeshraj Pokharel, the bank's CEO, handed them the supplies to show his support. Addressing the occasion, Chief Executive Officer Pokharel expressed his joy at being able to give over the materials to the organization and dedicate them to human services to help people make a living and assist those in need at the old age home.

Under the corporate social responsibility program, the bank has implemented a number of program to promote good change in the social, economic, cultural, and educational spheres.
