Global IME Bank opens branchless banking services at Phidim, Panchthar

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited has opened a new branchless banking service at Dairy Bazar, Phidim Municipality 12, Panchthar, effective Monday.

Phidim Municipality , Deputy Mayor Radhakrishna Neupane, Ward No. 12 Chairman Kamal Prasad Chapagain, and the bank's Assistant General Manager Dilip Pokharel jointly inaugurated the branchless banking service.

This brings the bank's total number of branchless banking services to 275.

Rural residents can use branchless banking services to access a variety of banking services through local agents. According to the bank, you can open a deposit account, deposit and withdraw funds up to the given limit, view your account balance, pay interest on loans, and so on.

In all 77 districts, the bank serves more than 4.6 million customers through more than 1100 service centers, which include 355 branch offices, 378 ATMs, 275 branchless banking services, 64 extension and revenue collection counters, and three foreign representative offices.
