Minister Kirati asked about delay in implementing reform report to Executive Chairman of NAC
KATHMANDU, Feb 02:Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has questioned why the committee's report on the reform of Nepal Airlines Corporation has not to be implemented.
On Wednesday, Minister Kirati asked that Executive Chairman Yuvaraj Adhikari comprehend the report of the committee constituted to implement the Corporation's Structural and Managerial Study and Recommendation Committee report.
Why was the previously created committee's report not implemented? If the report was implemented, what stage has it reached? He asked.
In addition, he was directed to furnish information about the job in progress. He questioned why the narrow-body plane's seat was not repaired even two weeks after it broke.
In response, the executive chairman officer guaranteed that every report is now being implemented and that all of them will be submitted with the correct information.
He also stated that it takes time to complete the legal procedure of making the ship's seats, and that it will be restored within a few days.
He stated that Minister Kirati will require a clear response and progress report from the ministry for all future reports and instructions, and that he will present the progress report to the Prime Minister appropriately.
