12th AGM of Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha held
KATHMANDU:Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited, recently held its twelfth annual general meeting.
Binod Acharya, the chief executive officer of the Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, delivered a welcome speech at the general meeting in Kathmandu on Wednesday, which was presided over by Bijayman Nakarmi, the chairman of the Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha.
The assembly approved the annual report for fiscal year 2079/80, as well as the auditor's report, among other documents. During the meeting, Bijayaman Nakarmi, chairman of the Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, stated that despite the unfavorable situation in the field of microfinance, the institution is determined to meet the expectations of shareholders by providing better quality services to its customers in the future.
He thanked all of the dignitaries in attendance for the successful completion of the general meeting, as well as for achieving the organization's aims.
This national organization, Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, has been offering microfinance services to over 76,000 members through 75 branch offices. More than $4 billion 40 million has been invested.
