Naresh Lal Shrestha elected as chairman of Export Council

KATHMANDU:Naresh Lal Shrestha was elected unopposed as Chairman of the Nepal Export Council. Shrestha was elected unopposed as Chairman of the Export Council's 26th Annual General Meeting.

Dr. Ramsharan Thapaliya is the first vice-chairman; Hari Prasad Dhakal is the second vice-chairman; Hari Prasad Dhakal is the general secretary; Raju Baniya is the secretary; Kanhaiya Lal Shah is the treasurer; and Basantraj Adhikari is the co-treasurer. Amrit Man Shrestha, Harisharan Bhetwal, Saraswati Sedhai Tripathi, Ramkumar Thapaliya, and Prabin Man Pradhan have been elected to the working committee.

Similarly, Premraj Naral and Amir Bagale have been nominated in accordance with the statute's provisions for nominating two members of the working committee at the working committee meeting.

Naresh Lal Shrestha is also a central member of the Federation of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry, where he serves as chairman of the export committee. Shrestha, who was previously the council's first vice-chairman, has extensive experience in the export business.
