Global IME Bank organizes blood donation program in all provinces

KATHMANDU:On the occasion of its 17th anniversary, Global IME Bank organized a massive nationwide blood donation program programs in all seven provinces.

On the occasion of the bank's 17th anniversary and entry into the 18th year, it organized blood donation as well as free eye checkups, blood pressure tests, diabetes tests, and other programs on Tuesday.

Under the program, the Sunsari branch in Kosi province, Golbazar branch in Siraha in Madhes province, Kantipath branch in Kathmandu and Narayangadh branch in Chitwan in Bagmati province, Pokhara New Road branch in Kaski in Gandaki province, Butwal Milanchowk branch in Lumbini province and Nepalgunj branch in Banke, Birendranagar branch of Surkhet in Karnali province and Dhangadhi branch of Kailali in Sudurpaschim province blood donation is organized at Dhangadhi branch of Kailali.

According to the bank, 439 liters of blood were donated from 927 blood donors in the program organized nationwide. 783 people were examined free of charge and blood pressure and diabetes tests and counseling services were provided to 1048 people. The bank has organized a blood donation program as part of corporate social responsibility.
