Global IME Bank marks its 17th Anniversary with Free Health Camps

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank held a one-day free health camp in each of the seven provinces to mark its 17th anniversary. Accordingly, the bank in Chitwan's Bharatpur Mahanagar Ward no. 8 organized a health camp at Sharadpur's Gaurigunj health post.

According to the bank, over 200 women had their health checked in the camp. In partnership with the Nepal Family Planning Association, the bank is holding a one-day free women's health camp in each of the seven provinces.

According to the bank, services like as gynecological health check-ups for women, cervical cancer (VIA) testing, uterine prolapse case treatment, pharmaceutical distribution, and so on are provided free of charge in the camp.

Each camp has found early indications of cervical cancer as well as severe cases of cervical cancer. The cancer patients will be treated with surgery in the second phase of the healthy woman initiative program, according to the bank.

Since its establishment, the bank has benefited women and rural residents by organizing similar health camps at various times, placing a premium on corporate social responsibility.
