Nabil Bank's 39th AGM concludes with approval of an 11 percent dividend

KATHMANDU:The 39th Annual General Meeting of Nabil Bank has concluded.

The Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Upendra Prasad Poudel, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The meeting voted a resolution to deliver an 11 percent cash dividend to shareholders from the profit of the fiscal year 2022/23, as suggested by the bank's board of directors and approved by Nepal Rastra Bank.

In the fiscal year 2022/23, the bank made a profit of 6 billion 40 million rupees.

For nearly four decades, Nabil has provided exceptional banking services in the financial sector. This bank recently adopted the notion of sustainable banking by launching NBank for digital banking.

Poudel, the bank's chairman, stated that the bank's activities are guided by the country's economic situation.

"Considering the latest scenarios of the country's economy, the bank has played a supportive role in modernizing the banking sector of Nepal, providing dynamics to the country's commercial and industrial activities, and creating employment opportunities in the country," Poudel stated.

He stated that corporate governance and customer happiness are the bank's primary priorities.

Nabil Bnak has a network of 266 branches across the country and operates 22 extension counters and 313 ATMs.
