Chandra Dhakal re-elected as chairman of Global IME Bank

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal has been re-elected.

Likewise, the 17th annual general meeting elected six directors, three from the founder shareholders group and three from the general shareholders group.

On Thursday, the first meeting of the 6-member board of directors elected at the bank's 17th annual general meeting re-elected Dhakal as chairman. Dhakal is also the chairman of the  Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI).

From among the founder shareholders, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Ram Bahadur Bhandari, and Radhesh Pant were elected, while Narayan Prasad Paudel, Madanlal Joshi, and Krishna Prasad Sharma were elected from among the general shareholders.

The newly elected chairman will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected directors after taking the oath of office and secrecy from the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.
