Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu's Tree lighting for Baby Life Home
KATHMANDU, Nov 27:Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu organized a heartwarming tree lighting pre-Christmas celebration on November 26 tonight. Chef Kyohei, leading the "Kaku Kaku shika jika" restaurant, played a pivotal role. The event featured a special collaboration with Baby Life Home, introducing uniquely crafted bottles sold for Rs. 200 each, with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to supporting homeless children.
Representatives from Baby Life Home were in attendance, accompanied by children who actively participated in the festivities, adorning a Christmas tree with joy and creativity.
Chef Kyohei eloquently captured the spirit of the event, stating, "Christmas brings warmth to homeless children. Investing in our children is investing in the future of our nation.” He believes that the essence of Christmas lies in helping and caring for one another. His wish is to support education and contribute to a better Nepal.
Mr. Sashi Kant Agrawal, Chairman of Marriott Kathmandu and Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, echoed this sentiment, stating, “We here at Marriott are always here for homeless people and people in need.”
The honorary consul of the Dominican Republic, Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, was also in attendance at the celebration, along with various other prominent guests. This festive gathering not only illuminated the season with joy but also showed the collective efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate.
