NAC receives "Best National Flag Carrier" award

KATHMANDU, Nov 17:Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has received the 'Best National Flag carrier' award.

Musafir Media Hub, which has been doing tourism branding and promotion in the travel tourism sector in India for a long time, has chosen Nepal Airlines Corporation as the best national flag carrier among the airlines flying in India for the year 2023.

The award was  honor at a ceremony in Delhi on November 16, 2023.

Yuvaraj Adhikari, the corporation's executive chairman, said he was motivated to work more responsibly after obtaining the award.

The NAC now operates four planes international flights to ten locations, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai, Doha, Dammam, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Japan.

Similarly, two TwinOtter planes domestic flightsto 15 different places, including Taplejung, Ilam, Bhojpur, Phaplu, Tham Khark, Khanidanda, Rukum, Nepalgunj, Humla, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajura, Dang, Resunga, and others.

According to Ramesh Paudel, NAC spokesperson, during festivals such as Dashain-Tihar, the NAC retains a plane at its Nepalgunj base to service passengers from remote locations like as Rukum, Humla, Jumla, Dolpa, and Bajura.
