Tourism organizations contributed Rs 40 million to earthquake victims

KATHMANDU, Nov 08:The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has provided assistance earthquake victims.

The Ministry of Tourism has contributed 4 crore 13 lakhs 98 thousand 988 rupees to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.

The amount collected from various agencies under the ministry was handed over by Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday.

Among those who collected  funds under the ministry were the Civil Aviation Authority (1 crore), Nepal Airlines Corporation (25 lakhs), Tourism Board (50 lakhs), and Pashupati Area Development Trust (21 lakhs).

In addition, the Nepal Mountaineering Association (31 lakhs), Air Dynasty Helicopters (11 lakhs), and Kailash Helicopters (10 lakhs).

Similarly, five lakhs from Casino Mojang, five lakhs from Casino Mahjong Nepalgunj, five lakhs from Deltin Casino Kathmandu, five lakhs from Bally's Casino Kathmandu, five lakhs from Casino Pride Nepal, five lakhs from Casino Palace Kathmandu, and five lakhs from Casino Palace Jhapa.
