Arju Rice Mill distributed 500 sacks of rice to the earthquake victims
KATHMANDU:Arju Rice Mill distributed 500 sacks of chalam to earthquake victims in western Nepal. A huge earthquake struck Jajarkot and Rukum on Friday night.
Arju Rice Mill, owned by Buddha Air owner Birendra Bahadur Basnet, has provided rice assistance, while many business and non-commercial groups have continued to provide assistance following the earthquake.
Each bag of Arju Rice is 20 kg. The market price for 500 sacks of rice, according to the comany, is around 1.2 million rupees.
