Suman Pokharel appoints as DCEO of Global IME Bank

KATHMANDU:Suman Pokharel has been appointed as Global IME Bank's Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO).

Pokharel was appointed DCEO at a bank board meeting.

Pokharel was previously the Vice President of IME Group. He was also the  CEO of IME Limited.

He started his banking career from Everest Bank and has completed his post-graduation studies in management.

Pokharel, newly appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer, expressed his delight at the opportunity to rejoin Nepal's largest bank and stated that he will contribute to the bank's continued growth.

Global IME Bank is the country's first private sector commercial bank, with branches in all 77 districts.  The bank is providing services to more than 4.5 million customers from more than 1000 service centers, which include 350 branches, 369 ATMs, 322 branchless banking services, 66 extension and revenue collection counters, and 3 international representative offices.
