Citizens Bank will support 2.5 million

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited will contribute Rs 2.5 million to the victims of the Jajarkot earthquake.

The bank's spokesperson, Narayanraj Adhikari, stated that it has been decided to contribute 2.5 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue and treatment of earthquake victims.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the bank extended condolences to the families of those who died in the earthquake and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has provided assistance in areas such as health and education, and it has stated that such assistance will continue in the future.
