In nine months, nearly 7 lakh tourists arrived in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 01:Nearly 7 lakh tourists visited Nepal in the first nine months of 2023.

According to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), 6,92,372 tourists visited Nepal between January and September 2023.

In September, 91,012 tourists visited Nepal, according to statistics. The number of tourists has increased as the tourist season has begun.

In September, the highest number of Indian tourists visited Nepal. According to the NTB, 28,694 Indian tourists have entered the Nepal.

Similarly, 8,174 came from China, 7,364 from America, 3,716 from Bangladesh, 3,685 from Australia, and 3,685 from the United Kingdom.

Likewise, 3,011 tourists came from Sri Lanka, 2,852 from Germany, and 2000 from South Korea.
