Upasana Poudel appointed as CEO of Himalayan Re-Insurance

KATHMANDU:Himalayan Re-Insurance Company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has been appointed Upasana Poudel.

During the meeting, the company's board of directors accepted Chandrasekaran's resignation as CEO and decided to appoint Poudel as the new CEO.

The proposal to appoint Poudel as CEO has been sent to the Insurance Authority. According to Rajuraman Paudel, executive director of the Insurance Authority, there has been correspondence with the authority to designate Poudel as CEO, but no decision has been made.

Poudel, the former CEO of United Insurance Company, is now the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Re-Insurance.
