TTDC organizing evening rally in celebration of World Tourism Day in tourist destination Thamel (Photo Feature)
On the occasion of the 44th World Tourism Day, a rally was staged in Thamel, the capital's largest tourist destination. The Thamel Tourism Development Council held a rally on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. At the same time, Nepali Panchebaja and Newari Dhimebaja were performed.
The rally started from the Employees Provident Fund in Thamel and ended at Narsinghchowk, passing through Jyatha, Thahity, JP school, Chaksibari, Satghumti, Vaishali Hotel, Ascal Campus, and Chhaya Center.
President of the Council Bhabiswar Sharma stated during the rally program that the rally was planned on the occasion of World Tourism Day by collecting the presidents of various tourism-related organizations and companies. This year, World Tourism Day was observed in Nepal with a variety of programs centered on the theme "Tourism and Green Investment."
