339 climbers receive permits to scale mountains for autumn

KATHMANDU, Sep 18:This autumn, 339 climbers received permits to scale mountains.

According to the  department of tourism, 339 climbers have received permission to climb 10 different mountains as of last Friday.

According to the department, 236 male and 65 female climbers received climbing permits through 26 different groups.

A total of 311 climbers have been received permits to climb Manaslu.Likewise, 10 climbers received permits to climb Dhaulagiri.

Similarly, four for Annapurna, four for Makalu, two for Thapa (Dhampus) Peak, two for Mt Nemjung, two for Mt Himlung Himal, two for Mt Kumbhakarna, two for Mt Putha Himchuli, and two for  Raksha Urai Himal.

Three crore 64 lakh 99 thousand rupees in royalties have been collected.
