Hot air balloon flight resumed

KATHMANDU, Sep 15:After a three-month hiatus owing to the rainy season, the hot air balloon flight has resumed operations.

Balloon Nepal's president, Bikram Bade, said on Thursday that hot air balloon flights had resumed. The company, which previously operated with only one balloon, will begin using two balloons in its flights in September.

Two balloon flights, including one more, have been launched in response to visitor demand for adventure sports, according to President Bade.

Pokhara's scenery may be seen from the air in a hot air balloon. A one-time flight cost of 9,500 rupees for domestic tourists, 100 US dollars for travelers from SAARC countries, and 130 US dollars for overseas tourists has been set for the Pame airstrip in Pokhara.

He states that if you go up to 6,000 feet in a balloon, you can see mountains such as Machhapuchhre and Annapurna, as well as the full-sized Fewa Lake, Pumdikot Mahadev, paragliding, Sarangkot Mandir, and the Pokhara Valley.

He informed me that the company has engaged two pilots to operate the service, one American and one Vietnamese. The flight works in two shifts, one in the morning and one in the evening. Flights are available from 5 am to 9 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
