Machhapuchhre Bank's QR code service at Nepal Rastra Bank's Currency Management Department

KATHMANDU:Machhapuchhre Bank has launched a QR code service in Baluwatar, Nepal Rastra Bank Currency Management Department.

According to the bank, the service was introduced to promote digital payment services, with an emphasis on the Nepalese people's big festival, Bada Dashain, so that consumers who want to convert Nepali notes will profit directly.

The service was jointly signed by Naresh Shakya, Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, and Santosh Koirala, Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchhre Bank, and started from Friday.

Customers who visit Nepal Rastra Bank to collect fresh Nepali notes from this service can do so by paying with QR.

As a result, it appears that consumers' job will be speedier, and it will also facilitate cashless transactions.
