Godawari model place in country in terms of environment: Minister Kirati

KATHMANDU:Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has stated that the Godawari region in Lalitpur is an environmental model for the country.

On Thursday, he requested that everyone attend and inspect the herbs and flora that are not found anywhere else in the world as part of the complete cleanliness initiative organized by the Godawari Municipality-3 office.

"Godawari is a model place in the country in terms of ecological region," Minister Kirati said, adding that "it seems that everyone should come to the Godawari region, which is rich in herbs and plants, for observation."

He highlighted that this area should be made beautiful because it serves as a model for tourism in the country. Minister Kirati stated that due to the recent increase in the incidence of dengue and scrub typhus, cleanliness should be prioritized.

Ward President Sanoraj Ghimire stated in the program that rubbish should be properly managed and the village kept clean not only in Ward No. 3 but in all areas. Ministers, public officials, sanitation campaigners, villagers, employees, merchants, and police participated in the program.
