Ncell's 4G network expanded to Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces

KATHMANDU:Ncell has expanded its high-speed mobile broadband service to four Karnali and Far West areas. Ncell has launched 4G services in Mugu, Dolpa, Humla, and Bajura.
Ncell installed four 4G base transceiver stations (BTS) in these new sites last month, one each in Thuli Bheri Municipality (Dolpa), Chhayanath Rara Municipality (Mugu), Badimalika Municipality (Bajura), and Simikot Rural Municipality (Humla).
The company has been operating 4G service in place of V-SAT technology. Ncell's 4G service is now available in all districts of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province.
Ncell's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Jabbor Kayumov, stated that the service has been expanded to connect clients with new technology.
In June 2074, Ncell launched 4G service from Kathmandu Valley. Ncell now has over 4000 4G BTS in operation across the country.
Ncell is also aiming to improve 4G coverage in Manang. 4G LTE provides consumers with services such as stream high-definition videos, Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE), quick download and upload large-size files, and make video calls.
