Tata Tiago EV launches in Nepali Market

KATHMANDU:Tata Motors launched the Tiago EV, an electric vehicle. On the first day of the NADA Auto Show 2023, Sipradi Trading, Tata Motors' official distributor in Nepal, unveiled the much-anticipated electric hatchback automobile Tiago EV.

Tata Motors launched the Tiago EV in the Indian market on September 28, 2022.  But only from January 2023, the Tiago EV was handed over to consumers. Sipradi has launched the Tiago EV to Nepal a year after it was introduced in India.

Sipradi has set the Tiago EV's starting pricing at Rs 21 lakh 99 thousand. Likewise, the Tiago EV High End is priced at 27 lakh 99 thousand rupees.

Sipradi opened the Tiago EV booking last Friday. Tiago EV reservations can be made through Sipradi's website or showroom. Many people who are interested in electric vehicles have asked when the Tiago EV will be available in Nepal.

The Tiago EV comes with two battery pack configurations. There are 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh batteries available. Sipradi has unveiled the Tiago EV, which features a 19.2 kWh battery pack. This EV has a range of 250 km with a 19.2 kwh battery pack and a range of 315 km with a 24 KWh battery pack.

Sipradi has made the Tiago EV accessible in four different colors. Customers who reserve Tiago EVs will receive the vehicle before the end of September.

Tata Motors had transferred 10,000 customers in India within 4 months. Tata Motors says that the Tiago EV is the first vehicle to sell 10,000 units in the first four months of its launch.

Within 24 hours of Tata Motors launching the bookings for the Tiago EV, 10,000 bookings were made. The Tiago EV has been sold in 491 Indian cities and has traveled 11.2 million kilometers. Similarly, this voyage saved 1.6 million grams of CO2 emissions.

In the Indian market, Tata presently sells the Nexon EV, Nexon EV Max, Tigor EV, and Tiago EV. The Tiago EV with a liquid-cooled battery and engine comes with an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty.

The 15 amp plug provides four distinct charging choices. A home fast charger with 3.3 KW AC or 7.2 KW AC can charge the automobile for 35 kilometers in 30 minutes. Tiago EV can reach 100 percent in 3 hours and 36 minutes, and DC rapid charging is also available.
