Bhutan Airlines to resume Kathmandu flights from September 17

KATHMANDU, Sep 08:Bhutan Airlines, Bhutan's first private airline headquartered in Thimphu, will resume Kathmandu operations on September 17th.

Society International Travel Services, the airline's official General Sales Agent (GSA), provided this information. Nepal will have four weekly flights.

There will be four weekly flights on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, according to the GSA. The Paro-Kathmandu-Delhi route has a two-way flight.

Bhutan Airlines states that with the return of regular flights, it will resume flights to Kathmandu that were canceled because to the global Covid-19 epidemic.

Bhutan, often known as the "Land of the Thunder Dragon," has been operating its first Kathmandu flight since 2013, in order to promote tourism and develop Nepal-Bhutan relations.

Bhutan Airlines CEO Pema Nadik stated that flights will be maintained on a regular basis even during difficult times.
