Shri Krishna Janmashtami magnificence at Krishna Temple (Photo Feature)

Today is the celebration of Shrikrishna Janmashtami.

On the day of Shrikrishna Janmashtami, worshippers and visitors flock to Krishna temples around the country beginning early in the morning.

Since early morning, people have flocked to the Krishna temple in Lalitpur's Patan.

According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Shree Krishna was born at midnight on Bhadrakrishna Ashtami day according to the lunar calendar during the Dwapar era.  As therefore, this day is also known as "Shri Krishna Janmashtami," and the night is known as "Mohratri."
