QR code service of Machhapuchhre Bank launched to ease services for customers

KATHMANDU, August 6: Machhapuchhre Bank has started QR code service in the banking department of Nepal Rastra Bank. QR code service of both Nepal Pay and Phone Pay networks has been launched in the department in Baluwatar. 

The service was jointly signed by Dayaram Sharma Pangeni, executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, and Santosh Koirala, CEO of Machhapuchhre Bank.

Customers who go to the central bank to exchange foreign currency through this service can pay through QR and get the exchange facility which will make the process faster and will also support cashless transactions.

The bank promotes cashless banking and is continuously advancing towards the goal of establishing itself as the first digital 'smart bank'.
