Suggestions given by private sector expected to be included in the monetary policy: FNCCI
KATHMANDU, August 3: The Federation of Nepali Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expected the central bank to meet the demands raised by the association.
Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal, president of FNCCI, said the central bank is expected to include the suggestions given by the private sector in the monetary policy announced for the ongoing fiscal year.
He said this while speaking at a workshop on the impact of tax policy and monetary policy, which has been changed by the economic policy, organised by the federation on Thursday.
Stating that the circular for the implementation of the monetary policy issued by the NRB is being issued gradually, he said that the suggestions given by the private sector are expected to be included in the monetary policy circular as well.
He said that both the budget and the monetary policy brought by the government could not solve the current economic problems immediately.
He also laid concern that the current economic problems of the economy were not resolved in both the budget and the monetary policy brought by the government. Circulars are being issued gradually for the implementation of the monetary policy issued by the central bank. The suggestions given by the private sector are expected to be included in the monetary policy circular.
