'Hotel Siddhartha Vilasa’ soft launched today by the Siddhartha Group

KATHMANDU, June 29:“Happiness doesn’t have a path; Happiness itself is a path.” Following the great words of the wise Siddartha Gautam ‘Buddha’, Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality announces the soft launch of Hotel ‘Siddhartha Vilasa’ at Bhairahawa today. It is a five-star hotel situated 20 kilometers away from Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is interconnected with the transport services in Bhairahawa, being 8 kilometers from the international airport and 200 meters away from the highway. The hotel is to be fully operational in September or October of this year.

The founder President of the Siddharth Group, Chintamani (Laxman) Neupane, began the journey of hospitality with humble roots by establishing a lunch shop in Tikapur on February 5, 1998. The group has now expanded its services into a chain of 32 hotels, resorts, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and other hospitality businesses across the country. And it has now presented the first five-star hotel in its chain as a crowning achievement. It is dedicated to supporting the tourism and hospitality industries, which are hailed as the backbone of the Nepali economy.

The group's President, Neupane, urged that the government continue to work with the Indian government to establish aviation routes with India in order to regularize and expand international flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport.

The hotel offers a total of 85 rooms in four tiers providing their own unique levels of service: Deluxe, Executive Suite, Suite, and Presidential Suite. The rooms offer top-notch services such as air conditioning, flat-screen LCDs, room service, a tea/coffee maker, a minibar, safety deposit boxes, balcony views, and all other basic amenities. The hotel also features alluring and comfortable features such as a rooftop restaurant and swimming pool, fitness gym, spa, sauna and jacuzzi, health club, Infinity pool, Pool with view, Pool bar, long tennis court, etc. The hotel also features the largest tourism-based conference hall in Nepal, along with three seminar halls and one meeting room.

The group's CEO, Krishna Neupane, stated that facilities such as Nepal's largest meeting hall, three seminar rooms, and a 1,200-person assembly hall are available. He stated that the casino took up only 17,000 square feet. 

He stated Siddharth Group  has invested 2.5 billion rupees in this hotel. Siddhartha Vilasa has employed 300 people.

The group greatly focuses on the hospitality industry in Nepal and currently holds various business ventures under sole ownership or in collaboration with various other companies.
